This forum (SMF), finding posts of iterest

Dear All,

This forum is getting really active lately.
Nice to see so many new faces, seems rapid-miner is getting more and more popular, good job.

With so many posts I'm having a bit of trouble browsing this forum efficiently.
I use "Show new replies to your posts" and "show posts of this user".
The first removes posts from the list after you read them.
This is inconvenient when you wish to read the reply, think about it for a while and post at a later time.
Because then you have to search back the topic manually.
[Maybe there should always be a top 10 who do not get removed after reading]

The second, "show posts of this user", somehow returns 0 posts for my username.
[This is probably a bug, but kinda annoying]

It does work for some other users, but not all of them:

yes, we got many new users lately what is really great. Welcome to all of you!

Thanks for your comments on the forum. I have forwarded your comments to our technical administrator and he will check if an update of the forum or certain settings might improve the "browsing experience". Since I am responsible for three of the boards here I just frequently check those boards for new posts and answer them directly if possible, so it never came to my mind that there might exist problems for regular users. Thanks for bringing this to our mind.

Maybe somebody else found some workaround...
