Hello!

We are happy to announce the release of RapidMiner 4.4. We gave our very best to further improve RapidMiner and met as many requirements from the community as possible. The result is now available for download and provides 35 new operators, more than 30 bugfixes and a lot of exciting new features:

  • New Preprocessing Options: removal of duplicates, nominal value splits, data set union and superset and others
  • New Learning Schemes: linear and quadratic discriminant analysis, fast large margin and others
  • New Process Possibilities: FileIterator, MacroConstruction, SetData, ExceptionHandling and others

Enterprise Edition

Of course, the RapidMiner Enterprise Edition benefits from all improvements of the new version. In fact, many of the new features and bugfixes were already available to our Enterprise users due to the automatic updates and intermediate release. In addition to the features mentioned above, the reporting engine was further extended and provides now several new settings, typed parameters, as well as more options for corporate design and logo handling. Check out the details at theEnterprise Edition feature page.

Please post comments and requests in this thread.

Cheers,
Ingo

Sounds great, and thanks for all your hard work!  When will it be made available through the updating process to RM Enterprise customers?

Hi Keith,

thanks! During the weekend and yesterday we performed some additional tests for the Enterprise Edition which have been finished now. The delivery via the update service will hence start this afternoon. In the meantime, a mail should have been delivered to you containing some additional information - in case you cannot wait  Wink

All the best,
Ingo
