Hi,

as many of you might already have noticed we have just released a new version of RapidMiner as well as the first version of our brandnew open source business analytics server RapidAnalytics. You can find more information about both releases at

http://rapid-i.com/content/view/291/1/

RapidMiner 5.1

Improved data import wizards and a new calculator-style wizard for the definition of new attributes are only two of the improvements of the new version. Download RapidMiner 5.1 or use the Update Manager in the Tools menu in order to get the latest version (recommended).

RapidAnalytics 1.0

The cool thing about the combination of RapidMiner and RapidAnalytics indeed is the fact that you can

  • use RapidMiner to define your analysis processes,
  • upload and share them on RapidAnalytics,
  • let RapidAnalytics execute them or
  • define a schedule for automatic execution,
  • easily setup a web service based on your process with only a few clicks in the web interface,
  • which at the end allows to integrate analytics into your business processes by invoking those services.

And the Enterprise Edition of RapidAnalytics even offer more:

  • complete web-based report designer based on underlying processes and services,
  • pixel-perfect predictive reports,
  • report browser and report manager via web,
  • flash charts for graphical visualizations,
  • monitoring tools for usage statistics and to ensure productivity,
  • extended user management including the support for single-sign-on,
  • new operators for in-database-mining,
  • connection to Ingres VectorWise,
  • full support and guarantees.

More information about RapidAnalytics can be found at

http://rapid-i.com/content/view/182/192/

We hope you like it. All the best,
Ingo

Hi,

thanks a lot for this update. It even contains fixes that aren't listed (operator info is now working). That's a very nice X-Mas present!

Thank you and all the best in 2011
