I just wanted to let you know that we have just released the English version of the new RapidMiner 5.0 manual 


You can download the new English version together with a slightly updated German version from the Rapid-I web page:

With respect to documentation, one of the last things s missing is the update and extension of the documentation of the operators and parameters. We did quite a lot for this already but there is more to optimize. We are in the process of embedding a Wiki approach for the operator documentation into RapidMiner so that users who find an explanation misleading or incomplete can help to optimize it. We will keep you updated about this.
