There are multiple language that run the java virtual machine, and have some python like syntax.

Why did you guys chose to enable Groovy scripts in RM scripts?

What makes Groovy special?

Hi,

Nothing. When we implemented the scripting operator we had a long discussion here and if I remember correctly, Groovy was among the most demanded scripting languages. Therefore we started with Groovy first but this does not mean that other languages will not follow.

Maybe now Jython should follow  since it is much more structured than Groovy Wink (it's my wish for Xmas).
