Register for RapidMiner 5 Alpha Test!

Hi all,

we currently make large steps in the development of RapidMiner 5 and I must admit that I really love the current result. The new graph layout is really cool and will ease the usage of RapidMiner especially for less experienced users. The new meta data transformations as well as a lot of quick fixes (both features will be described in our blog during the next weeks) are also great additions. Not to mention the many things which are not published yet 

In about 4 weeks, we are going to present the Alpha release of RapidMiner 5. Currently, the major task for us is to ensure that as many of your processes as possible will work with RapidMiner 5 as well. It is important that many of you participate in this alpha test and send us processes which used to work but now cause problems during loading or execution. That's your one and only chance - don't complain if you have not participated

The main language of communication will be English, German is of course also possible. The alpha test will not be too hard for you: just work with the new version, send in processes which do no longer work, and take part in the survey at the end of the alpha test phase. That's all.


I am looking forward to many of you participating in this alpha test and help us to further improve RapidMiner.

I just wanted to let you know that the alpha test is about to start and registered users will get a mail tomorrow with the necessary information. If some of you have just decided to participate in the alpha test: the registration is still open and stays open until the end of the week so you can still take part if you would like to help us to improve RapidMiner.

Hi Felipe,

we have closed the alpha test some time ago. But we are about to release the beta version of RM 5 real soon, probably this week. Of course, we will announce the release in the forum as well as on our website. So stay tuned and have a look at the beta version. Feedback about RM 5 is very welcome.
