New Release: RapidMiner 4.5

We are happy to announce the release of RapidMiner 4.5. A lot of exciting new features were added to this release including 13 new operator and more than 10 bugfixes among other improvements like

    * the new operator Script allowing for arbitrary Groovy scripts,
    * improvements for the join and the aggregation operators,
    * faster name based access of attributes,
    * and several usability enhancements among others.

Enterprise Edition

Of course, the RapidMiner Enterprise Edition benefits from all improvements of the new version. In fact, many of the new features and bugfixes were already available to our Enterprise users due to the automatic updates and intermediate release. In addition to the improvements mentioned above, a bugfix in the reporting engine for small images was added as well.

I am always happy when a new release comes out . I am eager to try out the new scripting operator. Besides the hopefully-soon-to-be-fixed anonymous classes issue (*cough*) Groovy is an excellent choice.
