The download statistics of last month, October 2006, indicate a rapid growth of the YALE user base. The first release of YALE hosted by SourceForge.net led to a few hundred downloads. Now, two years later, the monthly download number hit its peak at 16,000. This makes YALE one of the most widely used open-source systems for machine learning and data mining.
The figure below shows the monthly download numbers of YALE from July, 2004 to October, 2006 as measured by SourceForge.net. The total number of downloads since 2004 exceeds 100,000.
