Several extensions for RapidMiner and RapidAnalytics exist which add new features or increase your productivity with our products. Please find a short description about all extensions provided by Rapid-I below.

All extensions can easily be installed with the Rapid-I Update and Installation Service available from the "Help" menu.

Finally, the two most widely used data analysis solutions - RapidMiner and R - are connected. Arbitrary R models and scripts can now be directly integrated into the RapidMiner analysis processes. The new R perspective offers the known R console together with the great plotting facilities of R. All variables and R scripts can be organized in the RapidMiner Repository.

A directly included online help and multi-line editing makes the creation of R scripts much more comfortable. Furthermore, widely used modeling methods are directly integrated as RapidMiner operators as usual. Get the best out of two worlds with the new RapidMiner R Extension!

All modeling methods and attribute evaluation methods from the Weka machine learning library are available within RapidMiner. After installing this extension you will get access to about 100 additional modelling schemes including additional decision trees, rule learners and regression estimators.

This extension combines two of the most widely used open source data mining solutions. By installing it, you can extend RapidMiner to everything what is possible with Weka while keeping the full analysis, preprocessing, and visualization power of RapidMiner.

This extension adds new operators to RapidMiner which can be used to generate reports consisting of tables and visualizations generated by RapidMiner. Since each report element is generated by the application of an operator, it is of course also possible to report within a loop or other control structures. This is hardly possible with other reporting solutions.

The RapidMiner Reporting extension supports various output formats, including HTML and PDF. Reports can be stored on a RapidAnalytics server and delivered to report viewers in its comfortable report browser directly via a web interface.

The Text Extension adds all operators necessary for statistical text analysis. You can load texts from different data sources or from your data sets, transform then by a huge set of different filtering techniques, and finally analyze your text data.

The Text Extensions supports several text formats including plain text, HTML, or PDF. It also provides standard filters for tokenization, stemming, stopword filtering, or n-gram generation.

The PaREn Automatic System Construction Wizard is a tool for supporting you in constructing a classification process within RapidMiner. For a given data set, it automatically recommends, constructs, and optimizes a classification process based on basic characteristics of the data set. You select a data set and the PaREn extension analyzes the data and predicts the expected accuracy for a set of widely used data mining algorithms.

The PMML Extension adds a new operator for writing models into the PMML standard. PMML is the leading standard for statistical and data mining models and supported by over 20 vendors and organizations.

Beside the compatibility of data mining models, the applicability of models direct in database systems on large amounts of data is one of the major benefits of this extension. With the new PMML Extension, the deployment of data mining models become much easier.

The new Web Extension for RapidMiner and RapidAnalytics provides access to internet sources like web pages, RSS feeds, and web services. Beside operator for accessing those data sources, the extension also provides specific operators for handling the content of web pages.

Companies can now extend their structured data with data from the web and combine those data sources for getting new insights and detect chances and risks.

Using the Community Extension, you can share your RapidMiner and RapidAnalytics workflows with data miners all over the word using the myexperiment.org portal. On the myExperiment web site you can discuss data mining processes, exchange workflows, and meet data miners working on similar problems.

This extension adds a new view named "MyExperiment" which you can use to browse all uploaded RapidMiner processes and manage your own workflows like uploading them or setting access rights.

The Series Extension provides operator for handling series data like time series or signal data. You can extract describing attributes from a set of series data which allows you to perform series classification, clustering, and forecasting processes.

The extension provides hundreds of series transformation and extraction operators ranging from Fourier Transformations, Wavelets, Windowing to Phase Spaces.

The Parallel Processing Extension add new versions of many RapidMiner operator to your data mining system which will perform its task in parallel. With this extension you can easily improve the execution speed of many analysis processes by performing sub-processes and sub-tasks in parallel on a multi-core machine.

Beside operators like cross validation or feature selection, the extension also adds a new mode for the complete analysis process where parallel paths of the process will be performed in parallel as well.
