On May 23th, Rapid-I announces a new community forum.

The new forum supports a lot of new features like code highlighting, message editing, attachments, polls, quoting, profile management, and private messages beside many more. Our new forum is open for discussions about RapidMiner but also about Data Mining, Data Analysis, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), and Business Intelligence in general.

The old SourceForge forum will no longer be maintained and will only be kept open for searching purposes.

The new forum should better support the users of our free community edition and all users interested in optimizing their data mining processes or who want to learn about data mining in general. Since RapidMiner has become a complete ETL solution as well as a full analysis engine, the new forum also contains subforums for ETL and preprocessing in general. The same applies for the BI and reporting aspects of RapidMiner which are more often used now due to its visualization capabilities. The new forum should be a place for discussing all aspects, problems, and new ideas for data mining in the mentioned related fields.

Professional and commercial users of RapidMiner should also have a look at the new Enterprise Edition of RapidMiner. This new version is also open-source and free of license costs but provides additional features, services, and guarantees for the world-leading data mining solution RapidMiner.
