As RapidMiner has once again proved to be the most-used open source data mining tool among the community of data analysts world-wide in a recent poll, it is now the time to give a face to that community. Therefore, Rapid-I has hosted the first RapidMiner Community Meeting And Conference (RCOMM 2010) and has invited users and developers of RapidMiner to take part and share their RapidMiner experiences with other members of the community.
The program of the conference consisted of
- 16 talks of people from all over the world
- 3 workshops including the first presentation of a new Extension for the integration of R into RapidMiner
- 6 trainings surrounding the user meeting and conference
- 1 game show: watch the gurus creating processes against the clock or even participate and battle for a price yourself!
